These will include a summary of where we are since the last report and what we have found so far. Any areas where we may have found something but it is inconclusive and what we are starting to research next.
Genealogical Reports
If you are not familiar with Genealogical reports the following page and attachment will explain what reports you will receive from us and examples of the reports. When you read your reports they will always start at Generation 1 however for reporting purposes Generation 1 may not always be you? This is really not as confusing as it sounds and a further explanation of this can be found in the attached Genealogical research reports document.

Generation 4 - Your Great Grandparents
Generation 5 – Your 2nd Great Grandparents
Generation 6 – Your 3rd Great Grandparents
Generation 7 – Your 4th Great Grandparents
Generation 8 – Your 5th Great Grandparents
Generation 9 – Your 6th Great Grandparents
Generation 10 – Your 7th Great Grandparents
The Reports
Ahnentafel
This report records the details of your Ancestors by Generation. In simple terms you could say that this report is looking backwards into the past from the person you start the report from.
The report starts at Generation 1 which is you however the report can be run from any person in your tree. The report will always call the starting person Generation 1
Register
This report records the details of the descendents of a particular person by Generation. In simple terms this report is looking forward into the future.
The report will always start at Generation 1 which will probably not be you but a chosen ancestor. It will show all the chosen ancestors descendents.
Relationship Report
This report shows the relationship between one person and another. This report can start at any person in the tree.
Media Reports.
This report is for an individual and will contain pictures if available of the person and media copies of any records found.
